Police: Teacher Held Sex Parties For Teens

Police in San Antonio, Texas, arrested a high school teacher on March 17 for allegedly throwing teenage sex parties.

In addition, Jared Anderson, 28, is also accused of taking part in sex acts with the young people, KSAT reports.

The incident was first reported to the Mormon church in which Anderson held a leadership role, which in turn called police.

“The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has zero tolerance for abuse of any kind," the church said in a statement.  "When we learned of this situation, local leaders reported it immediately to law enforcement. Anderson has been removed from all responsibilities within the local congregation. The Church is supportive of the efforts of authorities to investigate and prosecute this matter.”

Anderson taught English at Judson High School. He has since been put on administrative leave.

“Mr. Anderson has been employed by JISD for two and a half years as an English teacher,” the Judson Independent School District said in a statement. “Judson ISD is obviously very concerned about these charges and will fully cooperate with the ongoing investigation by SAPD, but will let the legal process take its course.”

Authorities say Anderson threw several parties involving teenage boys, the most recent on Feb. 12 which he called “Bro’s Night.”

The parties involved signs stating things like, "The last one to strip naked loses,” reports KABB.

"[They involved] anywhere from seven to 12 boys, ranging in ages from 15 to 17, maybe one or two 18-year-olds," said Sgt. Jesse Salame. “During those parties, he played games where he encouraged them to get naked and perform sexual acts on each other.”

Anderson confessed to throwing the parties and has sent a text apologizing to the teenagers' parents.

Officials believe he may be guilty of more charges, including possession of child pornography. They also believe there may be more victims.

"We're going to be interviewing many more people,” Salame said. “What we're asking is that anybody that has got any other information, any other potential victims, please come forward."

Neighbors were shocked by the revelations.

“He's always out playing with his wife and kids and the other neighbors' kids,” Mark Schenk said. "I've never seen teenage boys running around the neighborhood or heard anything like that. We're home quite a bit."
