'I'm Gonna Come And Kill You': Middle School Boys Suspended, Could Face Charges Over Death Threat Note

A Michigan mother was shocked after reading a note that was allegedly given to her daughter by a classmate threatening to kill her and her entire family.

Brianna Lyons is an eighth-grader at Stout Middle School in Dearborn, Michigan. When she arrived at school on Dec. 14, she said she found a threatening handwritten note in her locker, WDIV-TV reported.

The note read:

“I know where you live I know the street address everything one day I’m gonna come and kill you and your whole family If you think I’m joking try me…”

School officials immediately notified Brianna’s parents.

“I never thought I would have to go through this with my kids because we try to protect them all the time,” Brianna’s mother, Carol Lyons, told WDIV-TV.

Dearborn police have identified the three boys allegedly responsible for the note, WWJ-TV reported. One of the students will not be returning to the school. The other two are currently suspended and all three could be facing criminal charges.

The motive or reason behind the note is unknown at this time. Dearborn Police Chief Ron Haddad said the note will not be tolerated and that the students will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, according to WDIV-TV.
