An Arizona Del Taco manager's profanity-laced rant to two customers went viral (video below).
In a video of the incident, the manager can be seen yelling at two customers who returned to the drive-thru window to get sauces they’d asked for but were not given.
“This guy right here, he just called me a f**king d**k,” the driver says while the manager flips him off in the background, as noted by Daily Mail.
“Did he give you the food?” says the woman filming, who is seated in the passenger seat.
“No,” the driver responds. “But I didn’t pay for it either.”
The manager then returns, the woman complaining about his attitude.
“I don’t give a f**k, bro,” the manager says.
The manager then notices the woman filming, and laughs off the whole incident.
“Shoot it, go ahead,” he says. “Where you gonna post it? YouTube? No one’s gonna f**king see it.”
The woman then says she would send the video to his boss, to which he replied that he was the boss.
“My dad’s actually the f**king owner, so good luck with that.” He says he’s “done this a billion times.”
“You guys give me s**t all the time,” he continues. “I’m not talking about you specifically, I’m talking about you the customers.”
The customers then ask him why he wouldn’t just quit his job if he doesn’t like what he does.
“Bro, why would I quit? This is my f***ing fortune, right here! Do you know how much of a pot of gold this is?” the manager responds.
The clip quickly went viral, prompting Del Taco to release a statement to ABC 15 acknowledging the incident.
“We strive to provide a positive guest experience at all of our restaurants and were appalled by this behavior as it is not representative of our high guest service standards,” the statement read. “We took this incident very seriously and addressed it with the location's franchisee, who took definitive action by terminating the employee immediately."
