Breakups are ugly things. Most of us have lived long enough to realize this. Out of all the stages of a breakup, one of the hardest things to come to terms with is seeing your ex-significant other with someone new. Jealousy is an ugly emotion.
No, this isn’t a Dr. Phil relationship rant. But check out what jealousy drove Houston woman Samantha Weber to do to her ex-boyfriends new girlfriend recently.
A Houston woman kept having strangers knock on her door late at night. The woman was dating Weber’s ex-boyfriend. One night, the boyfriend confronted one of the late-night strangers and asked him what he wanted.
The stranger told the man that he was responding to a Craigslist ad asking men to come to the home for sex. The ad featured the home address of the couple as well as a picture of the new girlfriend.
The couple contacted police and reported the ad. After a few days of investigation, police tracked the IP address as belonging to Samantha Weber, the ex-girlfriend from hell.
Weber denied posting the ad, but in addition to her computer matching the IP address, police found emails on her computer responding to the ad.
Weber has now been charged with online impersonation, a third-degree felony.
Jealousy rears its ugly head again.
