An 85-year-old man was arrested after employees at an Atlanta-area Starbucks found pornographic images of children on his cell phone when he accidentally left it behind at the coffee shop.

Carl Alfred Iverson accidentally left his cell phone at Starbucks in Marietta, Georgia, on September 23. According to a warrant, when employees went through his phone to find contact information to return the phone, they discovered child pornography.

Police were called and Iverson, who is homeless, was brought in for questioning when he returned to get his phone back.

Officers obtained a search warrant and discovered eight pornographic images of children on his cell phone. One picture depicted a six-year-old boy performing sexual acts with an adult male.

In April, Iverson pleaded guilty to child pornography computer charges after he attempted to seduce an undercover detective who was posing as a 14-year-old girl last year. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and 10 years probation.

As a condition of his plea, Iverson was placed on the sex offender registry and agreed to stop using the internet, unless he was under direct supervision and only paying bills or dealing with the VA, court documents say.

Iverson is being held in the Cobb County Jail without bail on eight charges of sexual exploitation of children.
