A woman in Russia has been nicknamed the "real-life Rapunzel" for her extraordinarily long hair, which she has not cut in 13 years.
Dashik Gubanova Freckle has become a social media sensation, with more than 100,000 followers on Instagram. Freckle, whose hair comes down to the lower half of her shins, says she does not plan to cut it until it reaches her toes, according to the Daily Mail.
A number of her followers have suggested that she donate her hair for the purpose of making wigs. Freckle appears on board with the idea.
"This post is for those who say that I should donate [my] hair for wigs," she wrote on Instagram. "In 14 years, I cut a scythe and donate hair for wigs."
First, however, she intends to reach her objective of growing her hair to her feet, says Mirror.
"Today, I [continue to] grow hair. My goal is to grow them to toe," she wrote, apologizing for her English.
Freckle says she enjoys "creativity in all its forms," and has taken close to 200 photos of her hair throughout the long growing process.
While some people have questioned whether it is possible to clean and blow dry hair that long, most comments express envy for Freckle's locks.
