Harvard Grads Update their Classmates on Their Lives in Anniversary Report

A report for those who graduated ten years ago from Harvard University features updates from classmates about what they're doing with their lives, and unsurprisingly, many of them are boastful.

Some made poetic statements about the places they've traveled, while others bragged about the series of books they had published and marathons they have run.

One Harvard alum wrote that they fulfilled the dream of "having a house with a Japanese bath to soak in on cold nights."

Another tried to show off poetic skills by saying, "Having a dream is like carrying a compass. It more often than not leads me in the right direction, but it's also a constant hustle…I love stories of football players gearing up for draft day."

"The low round picks, trying to prove themselves, waking up at 5:00 a.m. to train, their entire family depending on them to make it. And then you get the call. The hustle begins again."

Another one described how they live in London, but being a graduate of Harvard, they had to make it seem a little more foreign and dazzling.

"She's a cool mistress, this wondrous London: ever forgiving but never one to forget. I have returned to her triumphant, lost it all and been broke, then made it again, under her sight, to once more be loved by this, the greatest of the world's cities."

And one created a list of changes in their life, which all seem rather noteworthy.

"Published fifty-plus magazine features on topics including: being tall, vibrators, sitting and ayahuasca. Published a series of books in the US, UK and Italy. Awoke at times like 3:00, 3:15, and 3:20 to promote said books on morning television shows."

"Shot a TV pilot for Oprah's Network."

"Traveled to: Iceland, India, Turkey, Cambodia, England, Germany, etc. I am writing this from Cambodia. Hi."

Others were more humorous about their updates, with one saying, "You probably felt the earth shift beneath your feet on May 1, 2012, when our daughter, Charlotte, was born, and thus, a new center of the universe."
