Gun Stores Rationing Bullets, Blame Federal Government (Video)

Many gun stores are resorting to bullet rationing, with store owners blaming the bullet shortage on huge ammunition purchases by the federal government (video below).

According to KCTV-TV, gun shop owners in Kansas City, Kansas are struggling to keep their shelves stocked, as prices soar for ammo supplies.

“We’re struggling to get that ammo," said UT Arms owner Chris Coad. "We’re doing limits on what individuals can buy. Just like your Walmarts, Cabelas, Dicks … everyone is doing a rationing of that ammo right now.”

Coad said he is short on ammo for 9mm, .40 caliber and .22 long guns.

"We can't get any inventory within a 100-mile radius," Mark Campbell, owner of Mid America Arms in St. Louis, told CNN. "It started right around the election, as soon as President Obama mentioned gun control. But right after the school shooting in [Newtown] Connecticut, that's when it went crazy."
