Group Has Close Encounter With Killer Whales Off Coast Of Canada (Video)

A group of guys began filming when they suddenly spotted several killer whales in the ocean off the west coast of Canada, and unexpectedly, they had an amazingly close encounter with the orcas.

In the clip, which went viral after being posted on Jan. 29, the men spot some whales swimming in the distance. Suddenly, the killer whales come right up to the shore, and by the end, the orcas are rubbing themselves against the beach.

“Holy moly!” one of the guys in the video exclaims. “This is crazy! It probably feels like a nice massage.”

Since being posted, the video has garnered more than 237,000 views.

“Absolutely remarkable footage of northern resident orca with their culturally unique behavior of rubbing themselves on beaches like this,” expert Jackie Hildering, the Marine Detective, said, according to The Blaze.
