A 76-year-old woman found help in the form of ten Good Samaritans when a man tried to steal her purse in a Winn-Dixie parking lot.
John Zachary DesJardin rode his bike passed Rosemary Carelton in the parking lot and tried to snatch her purse, reports WESH.
Carelton cried for help, and help is what she received.
A group of men came running to assist her, including Navy Veteran Kendrick Taylor, who was headed to the gym when he saw the attack happen.
"What if that was my grandmother? She was screaming for help. That's when I ran over to help her," Taylor said. "When I looked down I didn't know if he had a knife or a gun. When I saw the lady was so old when he threw her down, she was so fragile and I knew she needed help."
Taylor sprang into action and ran after DesJardin, reports The Blaze.
"When I finally got my hands on him, I just apprehended him and told some local people to call the police and they got here and I kept him down," Taylor said.
DesJardin, who was on probation for unrelated charges, was charged with attempted robbery and battery on a person 65 or older.
Carelton suffered minor injuries and was traumatized, but her niece said the entire family is thankful for Taylor and the others help.
