Former "Glee" star Naya Rivera has been charged with domestic battery after allegedly attacking her husband, Ryan Dorsey (video below.)
She was arrested Nov. 25 in Chesapeake, West Virginia, after Dorsey called police, accusing her of hitting him in the head and the face while they were walking with their 2-year-old son, TMZ reports.
Rivera was arrested after Dorsey provided Deputy T. Dubiel with a video of the attack, according to the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department.
Dorsey, an actor who has appeared on shows including "Pitch" and "Nashville," told Dubiel that his wife struck him in the head and face, which was consistent with the video evidence, reports the Daily Mail.
Sgt. Brian Humphreys said the two were arguing over their child and Dorsey didn't require medical attention, but he did not provide additional details.
Rivera posted $1,000 bond on Nov. 26 and was released.
She and Dorsey married in 2014, according to IMDb. In November 2016, she filed for divorce, but the couple reconciled in October 2017.
Rivera initially had a relationship with Dorsey in 2010, but they broke up when she got engaged to rapper Big Sean in September 2013. However, Sean called off the engagement seven months later, and Rivera went back to Dorsey.
On Sept. 17, 2015, the couple became parents with the birth of Josey Hollis Dorsey.
As revealed in her autobiography, "Sorry Not Sorry," Rivera had been impregnated by Dorsey in 2010, but had an abortion after they broke up.
IMDb has conveniently tracked her ranking on the Maxim Hot 100 list. In 2010, she ranked No. 61. The following year she moved up to No. 43. In 2012, the most recent year noted, she ranked No. 27.
Rivera has been to Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch twice, though there were no reports of foul play.
She has commented on her large gay following, thanks to her character "Santana" on "Glee."
Well, I love my gay bars -- I go all the time -- and we'll literally be recognized more at gay bars than anywhere else. In fact, I don't get recognized anywhere except for gay bars. The gay boys will be like, "Oh, my God, I'm talking to Santana!" They only call me "Santana." It's awesome."
Her dream role is to portray Lena Horne. "Her talent was astounding and more than that, her life story is incredible," says Rivera.
Horne is not alive to comment.
