Eight teenage boys allegedly raped a 16-year-old girl in a vacant Fort Lauderdale, Florida, home.
On May 4, the girl went to the abandoned house with her boyfriend, James Dorelus, the Sun Sentinel reports.
The girl told police several friends of Dorelus’ arrived at the home and she got suspicious and tried to leave.
One of the teen boys started to fondle her. When she pushed him away and walked towards the door, he said, “No, no, no. Get her.”
The girl was grabbed by two other teens, but managed to get free, ran into a bathroom and tried to bar the door.
One of the teens forced his way into the bathroom and demanded the girl have sex with him, she told police.
Two more teens then came into the bathroom.
“No, no, she likes it rough. She’s one of those kind of girls,” he said, as the girl struggled against them.
For the next several hours, she was allegedly raped by eight teenage boys, the New York Daily News reports.
She knew four of her attackers.
When the teens left the home, they took the girl’s cellphone, $20 cash, a $10 Walmart gift card, her pants and underwear, according to the police report, according to the Sun Sentinel.
The girl, with only a T-shirt around her waist, contacted the police.
She was taken to a rape treatment center.
Condom wrappers and used condoms were found at the vacant home.
Five of the teen suspects have been arrested: Dorelus; Stervenson Isma, 16; Amazan Robensky, 17; Woolvens Bazile, 18; and Olbry Pierre. Police are still searching for three more suspects.
Investigators found video footage of the sexual assault allegedly showing Dorelus having sex with the girl. Isma, who told police he was not there, is reportedly seen in the video.
Isma, Robensky, and Bazile face seven felony counts of sexual assault. Information has not been made available on Dorelus and Pierre.
