Freed Journalists, Bill Clinton Arrive Back in the U.S.

Journalists Laura Ling and Euna Lee arrived back in the United States this morning after being held in North Korea since March. The two were convicted of engaging in "hostile acts" after allegedly sneaking into North Korea while reporting for Current TV, a network co-founded by former vice president Al Gore.

The two were reunited with their families after landing at the Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, CA at approximately 6am, and an emotional Laura Ling expressed her gratitude to President Barack Obama, former President Bill Clinton, former Vice President Al Gore and others. Gore then took the podium and spoke briefly on behalf of the journalists and their families.
