Fox News' Elisabeth Hasselbeck Encourages Anti-Gay Baker (Video)

"Fox & Friends" co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck interviewed Christian baker Jack Phillips this morning about a recent ruling by the Colorado’s Civil Rights Commission that said Phillips broke the state law when he refused to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple in 2012.

Phillips claimed he refused to do because of his religious beliefs.

The commission ordered Phillips' Masterpiece Cake Shop to bake cakes for same-sex couples, which he is refusing to do by not offering wedding cakes to anyone, reported the New York Daily News.

He claims he can do fine by just making brownies, cookies and cup cakes, which Phillips says he will make for a gay person's birthday.

“I don’t want to participate in a same-sex wedding,” Phillips told CBS Denver.

According to, Hasselbeck claimed today that Colorado was “cracking down on religious freedom” by not allowing the discrimination of gay couples by the Christian baker.

“Keeping going strong there Masterpiece Cake Shop,” Hasselbeck told Phillips, and then added, “Is that freedom? And is that violation?”
