Four Israeli Soldiers Busted For Posting Racy Facebook Photos (Pictures)

The Israeli military has disciplined four female soldiers for “unbecoming behavior” after photos of the women dressed only in their underwear and combat gear were posted on Facebook.

The Israeli news site Walla published pictures showing the soldiers removing their fatigues to expose their underwear and back sides. In another photo, five women are seen wearing only helmets and a skimpy amount of combat equipment in what appears to be a barracks room, The Daily Mail reported.

According to Walla, the women were new recruits stationed on a base in southern Israel. In a statement, the military said: “The commanding officers disciplined the soldiers as they saw fitting.”

The identity of the soldiers and their punishments were not revealed.

This is not the first time the Israeli military has disciplined soldiers for issues involving social media postings. Last year, the social media chief for the Israel Defense Force, Lt. Sacha Dratwa, was called racist for a Facebook photo of his face covered in mud alongside the caption “Obama style.”

In a 2010 incident, a female Israeli soldier was disciplined after posting a picture of her with a blindfolded man online. After that incident, Israeli soldiers were banned from using social media sites while on base. It is unclear whether that ban is still in effect.
