Michael Carson, high school footbal coach at Martin Luther King Jr. High School, in DeKalb, Georgia, was suspended after parent Davida Bishop accused him of sexting her, reports WSBT.com.
Bishop reportedly showed the nude photographs of Carson, on her cell phone, to other people in the high school football stadium.
DeKalb County Schools spokesman Jeff Dickerson told WSBT.com: “My understanding is that there were some nude photographs involved. Following that, the DeKalb police arrived on the scene and tried to gather as much information as possible. In the meantime, the coach was suspended."
“We want to talk to everyone involved. We want to question everyone involved. We want to get to the bottom of this story. It’s (being) taken very, very seriously."
The DeKalb County School District said that Carson's sexting was an ethics violation, but charges have not yet been filed against Carson [who is on paid leave] or Bishop, who may have shown the nude pictures to minor students at the stadium.
