Floyd Mayweather Loses Four Expensive Cars In Trailer Fire (Photos)
Retired boxer Floyd Mayweather lost four expensive cars to a trailer fire, TMZ reports.
According to reports, the truck transporting Mayweather’s cars from Las Vegas to Miami starting having problems outside of Phoenix, Arizona, on Oct.7 at around 1:30 a.m. The entire truck and trailer went up in flames.
Mayweather’s cars, including a custom Jeep, a Bentley, and two Rolls Royces, were burnt to a crisp. The exact value of the destroyed cars is unknown, though it is estimated that the Rolls Royces could be worth about $400,000 each, the custom Jeep reportedly cost about $100,000, and the Bentley is estimated to be worth $300,000. That would put the estimated value of the lost cars at $1.2 million.
Mayweather has reportedly bought over 100 cars in the last two decades, according to Business Insider. He has been known to pay for his cars in cash.
