A Florida man clad in extremely short white shorts and a belly shirt with the word “Jamaica” written on it was arrested Wednesday after he drove drunk in Orlando.
Grady Bishop crashed into three cars when he drove drunk down Orange Avenue. Soon, his car broke down, and that’s when police swooped in.
Bishop damaged the cars but no one was in the vehicles at the time. He also crashed into several street lights in front of City Hall.
He was given a field sobriety test on South Orange Avenue, which he failed. Authorities said Bishop, 51, had a blood-alcohol level over twice the legal limit.
Florida news channel WFTV discovered that Bishop, from Winter Springs, owns an extreme stunts company. The company has worked with motion pictures and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
On Corporation Wiki, Extreme Stunt and Driving Team, Inc., is said to be located in Winter Springs, Fla. The active officers are Dawn Bishop and Grady Bishop. It also said the company is filed as a Domestic for Profit Corporation as of Thursday, October 23, 2003.
Bishop was charged with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident, and was released from jail on $1,300 bail. He caused about $10,000 in damage.
Authorities were called to the scene after someone reported they heard a loud crash from an adjacent block at 3:00 a.m.
This story comes soon after someone started a “Florida Man” Twitter account, chronicling the stories of a failed superhero. The account posts stories beginning with the title “Florida Man.” They’re typically amusing stories of drunken Florida men doing unbelievable things, like using a taco as a form of ID or being busted for illegal butt injections.
Now Florida Man can add driving drunk in tiny shorts to his repertoire.
