Terry Cunningham was arrested on Saturday in Albuquerque, N.M., for three counts of child abuse and neglect.
According to the Albuquerque Journal, police went to Cunningham's mobile home after someone called authorities to report a dead body inside the living quarters.
Bernalillo County Sheriff's deputies found Cunningham's dead brother in a bedroom inside the mobile home, which was full of feces.
Cunningham (pictured) lived in the putrid mobile home with the dead body, two daughters and a wheelchair-bound son, reports KOAT.
Several people reportedly called the local child services office because they didn't feel the kids were safe.
The dead older brother, 52, had been deceased for several days, according to police.
The children, whose room was only was covered by plastic, told neighbors they were allowed to shower once a week.
