Facebook Promotion Leads To Woman Being Sexually Assaulted

After receiving what she believed to be an innocent Facebook message from a man who said he was running a promotion for his massage therapy business, a Virginia woman was sexually assaulted. Now she’s speaking out about what happened to her.

Reports say that the woman, who has chosen to remain anonymous, received a Facebook message from Kacey Wallace claiming that he was a certified massage therapist and that he was running a promotion where she could receive a free massage as a new customer. Without thinking much about it, Wallace decided to take advantage of the opportunity.

“I didn’t even get enough time to think about it, it just happened so fast,” the woman said.

With a name like Kacey Wallace, the victim was under the impression that a woman would be coming to her home to give her a massage, but when she opened the door, she was shocked to see a man standing there. After letting him in, things immediately started to get scary.

“He didn’t introduce himself or nothing, he just was like he was there for the massage and he had the table,” the victim told CBS 6 News. “He just started kind of like forcing and started being aggressive and when I tried to get up and move he forced all his weight on me.”

The victim says she felt helpless as the attack occurred, and Wallace allegedly used her son, who was in the house at the time, as a threat against her.

“He was like, 'If you want your son to continue to be downstairs chilling then do what I say,'” the victim claimed.

As soon as Wallace left, the victim called the police, and eventually, the suspect was arrested. He has now been charged with one count of sodomy, and the victim says she hopes that speaking out will help others have the courage to speak out about being victims of sexual assault.
