This Is The Facebook Post One Mom Used To Punish Her Teen Daughter (Photo)

A North Dakota mother sold her teenage daughter’s Katy Perry concert tickets to discipline her.

Cindy Bjerke, of Fargo, posted a short ad to the Fargo Moorhead Online Garage Sale Facebook page, which says that her 18-year-old daughter is a “spoiled brat” who “doesn’t deserve these tickets,” the Daily Mail reports.

The tickets were worth $110, but she was willing to take $90 for them. Her ad received more than 200 likes and the tickets were sold in less than five minutes.

Bjerke won’t give her daughter’s name and hasn’t said exactly what she did wrong. But the way she chose to discipline the girl has sparked online debate, with some criticizing the punishment as harsh and believe that the matter should have been handled privately.

However, Bjerke says she has no regrets and is overwhelmed by the positive feedback she has received for selling the concert tickets on social media.

“I think a lot of parents are like me and feel they are being bullied over how they should parent their own children,” she told WDAZ-TV.

The Facebook page where the ticket was sold is a closed group, meaning you need permission to join it and the post would only be visible to the 17,000 members. The ad has reportedly been removed because it was distracting from the page’s purpose.
