An Illinois man has been arrested for allegedly having sex with his two pet dogs.
According to The Journal Star, Anthony J. Danner, 55, is facing two felony counts of sex with an animal, for which he could serve between one and three years in prison if convicted.
Peoria Police arrested Danner after a months-long investigation. Police say Danner engaged in sexual activity with a male malamute named Wolf and a female husky named Velvet in March.
Prior to his indictment, Danner's criminal history included only minor traffic offenses and citations for failing to vaccinate his pets for rabies.
Danner is currently being held in the Peoria County Jail on $35,000 bond.
According to the Inquisitr, Danner is far from the first to be arrested for having sex with animals. In 2012, a Georgia man named Bernard Archer was caught by a surveillance camera having sex with a woman's pit bulls. He was arrested and charged with multiple counts of bestiality.
In 2015, an Arizona man named Allen Darland was arrested for having multiple sexual encounters with farm animals, stray dogs, and his own pets. He was accused of using his job as a delivery driver as a way to come in contact with and molest more animals along his route.
