Florida woman Margaret Underwood reportedly crashed into a Winter Haven CVS store and grazed an elderly woman after she lost control of her vehicle.
Underwood was driving a 2008 Chevy Impala when she crashed into the State Road 540 CVS location. Photos from the scene show that she went through the front door and drove a significant distance through the building.
In surveillance video (below), the car can be seen barreling through the doors and narrowly missing an 80-year-old woman. The woman was taken to Winter Haven Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.
Apparently, just moments before, Underwood had backed her car out of the CVS parking lot and hit a Chevy Suburban. While her husband was checking the SUV, the woman pressed her foot to the accelerator and crashed into the building.
A CVS employee reported that the wheels were spinning and the engine was revving at a high RPM after the car had crashed.
Underwood was cited for improper backing and careless driving.
