Jeffrey Wright and Alexis Longo allegedly assaulted Dunkin’ Donuts employee Rajay Hall (pictured) after being given the wrong order in a Lauderhill, Fla., store.
Wright and Longo entered the store and confronted Hall about the botched order on Tuesday at about 1 p.m.
"I asked them what do they want in the coffee," Hall told NBC Miami. "She was like 'I don't know, like, just make black coffee.'"
Hall claims Longo threatened to punch him, but when he said "go ahead," Longo lunged at him and then Wright allegedly punched him.
The melee went on for two minutes as customers tried to break up the fight. Wright reportedly pulled out a 9mm Taurus Slim handgun to hit Hall several times, which was captured on a surveillance video (below).
Gary Benjamin, another Dunkin' Donuts employee, also tried to break up the fight.
“I was trying to play peacemaker," Benjamin told CBS Miami. "I didn’t want things to escalate further than they did. [Hall] was struck in the head a few times. I heard the blow connect. But he’s OK. He’s a tough kid."
According to police, Wright works as a security guard and has a concealed weapons permit.
“He pulled out a firearm and hopefully he’ll have to face the consequences," Benjamin said, who was not injured.
Wright was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, while Longo was charged with simple battery.
