'Duck Dynasty' Star Uncle Si Robertson Opposes Gun Control, Wants Sin Control

"Uncle" Si Robertson, one of the stars of the A&E reality TV show “Duck Dynasty,” recently spoke out against gun control.

“It ain’t gun control we need, it’s sin control,” Robertson told Men’s Journal.

Robertson also recalled his days as a "sinner" when he was drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War.

“I kept a fifth of whiskey in my pocket everywhere I went,” stated Robertson. “I tried dope one time, okay, like marijuana, but why would you smoke something that makes you feel 100 years old? So, drugs wasn’t it for me. In my mind, it was alcohol and whoring around.”

Robertson also recalled a recent story when some fans arrived in his front yard in the middle of the night.

“The other night, it’s 12:03 in the morning, and somebody is knocking on the door, and I’m like, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me,’ and I look outside and there’s 25 people standing in my yard,” said Robertson. “You know, He’s the reason this show has gone on like it has, but I have to ask Him every day, ‘Give me strength to deal with this.'"

In addition to God, the West Monroe, La. Robertson clan loves their guns and supports the NRA, which fights for the profits of gun manufacturers.

Phil and Kay Robertson recently appeared at a Friends of NRA event in Woodward, Okla., according to EnidNews.com.

While Phil Robertson doesn't mention the thousands of gun deaths in the U.S. each year, the pro-life patriarch strongly opposes abortion, reported the TheBlaze.com.

A video of (below) him preaching was posted on YouTube earlier this year: "And we debate whether it’s some woman’s right to tear you out of there a piece at a time! C’mon! You have a God-given right to live. And of all places, inside your mother, what in the world happened to us?”
