Kelly V. Catapano, 35, is being held on $5,000 bail after last Sunday night's incident at Moravian Cemetery in the New Dorp neighborhood of Staten Island, New York, according to court papers and public records.
The woman, driving a 2001 Chrysler Sebring, left her car hanging precariously over a fresh yet open grave in the Cemetery.
The deceased boyfriend, Frank Fresca, 66, was murdered in 2008. Fresca's killing remains unsolved.
On July 30, 2008, he was found dead on the grounds of his Ellis Street restaurant, shot nine times. The restaurant had "operated under the protection of the Bonanno family, and (jailed Bonanno soldier Gino) Galestro and his crew were responsible for responding to threats from customers and rival Mafioso," according to court papers.
Catapano faces felony driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated charges.
