Deputy Accused Of Assaulting Toddler For Leaky Diaper (Video)

Shelby County Sheriff's Deputy Brian Hoard has been accused of assaulting a male toddler by the child's father.

The dad recently filed a criminal complaint with police in Bartlett, Tennessee.

Deputy Hoard has not been charged with any crimes, but was placed on paid leave while the Bartlett Police Department and Shelby County Sheriff's Office investigate the allegations, noted My Fox Memphis (video below).

The incident allegedly happened on Jan. 3 when Deputy Hoard was at the home of his girlfriend, who is the child's mother.

The toddler's father claims his nine-year-old daughter and seven-year-old son witnessed the incident, which stemmed from the toddler's dirty diaper.

According to The Free Thought Project, the police report stated:

"Hoard pressed [the toddler’s] face in urine on the carpet after [the toddler’s] diaper had leaked. [The father] reported that he was made aware of the incident by his nine year old daughter and 7 year old son who he stated were both present and witnessed the incident. [The father] stated that his children stated their mother and Hoard argued about Hoard’s actions after the fact. [The father] stated that he does wish to press charges.”
