Police arrested David Edward McCosby who reportedly prayed in a “Tebow” pose after assaulting a 17-year-old boy in Shenango Township, Pennsylvania.
The Shenango Township Police Department said McCosby had confessed to the August crime and was charged with misdemeanor simple assault, reports TheSmokingGun.com.
According to a police report, McCosby confronted the 17-year-old youth because he had driven a lawnmower into the road, blocking McCosby’s car.
McCosby reportedly knocked the young man off the mower and assaulted him in his front yard. After the assault, McCosby walked back to his car, stopped and knelt down in prayer.
'Tebowing,' named after Christian football player Tim Tebow, is when someone prays by kneeling on one knee and placing a hand on the forehead.
