Criminal Teases Police On Facebook

In a Facebook post, the Butler County Sheriff's Office of Ohio asked the public to help them find Andrew Dale Marcum.

Marcum surprised police by commenting on the post.

Marcum had several warrants out for his arrest. The charges against him include abduction, assault, domestic violence and burglary. The seriousness of the charges didn’t seem to faze Marcum, who commented, “I ain’t tripping half of them don’t even know me.”

The Butler County Sheriff's Office replied to Marcum, “If you could stop by the Sheriff’s Office, that'd be great.”

The Facebook post has garnered hundreds of likes and more than 1,000 shares. The comments are rife with people defending and decrying Marcum, WBNS reported.

Other police groups have weighed in on Facebook; the Hamilton County Police Association commented: “Andrew Marcum please stay in Butler County…thanks for your cooperation.”

Later, Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones invited Marcum to jail on Twitter. Jones tweeted, “Hey Andrew Marcum we’ve got your room ready…” attached to a photo of a jail cell.
