Two individuals in Texas are facing felony trafficking charges after "negotiating" a price of $10,000 to take a girl's virginity.
Cirino Santiago Delacruz, 32, and Adriana Aguilar, 33 were arrested in Frisco, Texas last week on suspicion of trafficking and indecency with a child sexual contact, according to The Dallas Morning News.
The incident in question is supposed to have taken place in December 2015. Police were notified of it when the girl alerted her parents in late April 2016. The girl's age has not been given.
An affidavit for the case suggests that Aguilar knew the girl before the incident, and that the incident occurred when Aguilar asked the girl to join her on a few errands. Aguilar was really taking the girl to an apartment where they met with Delacruz, who offered to pay the girl $10,000 to have sex with her and take her virginity.
The girl said she was forced into a bedroom, where she was fondled by Delacruz according to investigators. When he tried to take off the girl's pants, she fought him and was allowed to leave the room.
The affidavit then says that Aguilar became agitated when the girl refused to have sex with Delacruz, and told the girl not to tell anyone what happened. The girl told investigators that she was fearful of Delacruz and Aguilar, according to RawStory.
The affidavit says that Aguilar "knowingly caused the juvenile victim to engage in sexual contact by placing the victim in the situation to be touched."
Child Protective Services is currently involved in the case.
