A cook at a New Mexico training facility for corrections officers allegedly licked slices of cheese that she put into sandwiches.
Yolanda Arguello, a cook at South Valley New Mexico Women’s Recovery Academy, allegedly licked slices of cheese prior to putting them into the sandwiches she made for the officers. Witnesses also say that Arguello sucked on an ice cube and put it in an officer’s drink, in addition to dumping ice on the floor and putting it back into a pitcher.
Arguello allegedly told witnesses that she did not want to serve probation and parole officers say that she wanted to show them who was better.
Arguello has been charged with three counts of battery on a peace officer, although her roommate says the allegations are false.
