Colorado Teacher Carly McKinney Tweets Nude Photos and Drug References, Calls Students ‘Jailbait’

A Colorado high school math teacher may be in hot water for allegedly using her Twitter account to post racy photos, make references to drug use and even refer to some of her students as “jailbait.”

After being contacted by a local news reporter about the posts on the account, it was quickly pulled down, although not before the teacher, Carly McKinney had time to post one last tweet: “Local news station just called me... Tweeking out..."

The 23-year-old claims that the account was created as a gag with one of her friends and that she was not actually responsible for writing any of the provocative content that appeared under the name @crunk_bear. Whoever was posting to the account decided to write things like:

"Naked. Wet. Stoned."

"Watching a drug bust go down in the parking lot. It's funny cuz I have weed in my car in the staff parking lot."

"Instead of being productive, I've been on Twitter..."

"Just got called Ms. McCutie. Points for being clever, however you are still jailbait."

School district officials are currently investigating the young teacher (who is in her first-year at the school) in an effort to discover if she violated school policies. It is still unclear when, if ever, she will be allowed to return to her classroom. Employees of the school are trained about the use of social media and instructed not to post anything on the Internet that they wouldn’t want to post on their classroom chalkboard.

McKinney says her friend was posting to the account without her knowledge and that she never had drugs on campus.
