Cherelle Baldwin is accused of murdering her former boyfriend Jeffrey Brown in Bridgeport, Connecticut by pinning him against a garage wall and crushing him with her red Pontiac G6.
Brown's relatives said that Brown was the father of a 2-year-old son with Baldwin, but the child was not in the car when Baldwin allegedly murdered Brown.
According to police, Baldwin accelerated as she drove 100 feet right into Brown, crushing him between the car and a wall at the rear of a garage on May 18.
"There was a significant impact when he was struck. The vehicle pushed in the cinder-block wall more than 10 inches," William Kaempffer, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department, told the Connecticut Post.
Accident reconstruction specialists from the Trumbull Police Department helped Bridgeport police in determining Brown's cause of death.
Baldwin is being held in jail on a $1 million bond.
She has reportedly given several versions of the crash, which are not substantiated by the evidence, say police.
