A coffee shop manager came up with a clever and fitting marriage proposal for his girlfriend recently.
Matt Skeen, who has been dating Sarah Nicholson for four years, printed his proposal out on a receipt. He watched from a backroom as his supervisor handed the receipt to Nicholson.
The receipt read “Sarah Louise Nicholson, you are the best thing that ever happened to me. I want to ask if you'd do me the honour of being my wife. WILL YOU MARRY ME?”

After the receipt was handed to Nicholson, Skeen walked out of the back room with a ring and a bottle of champagne in hand. You probably already assumed this by now, but she said yes.
“It was shocking, but I was happy,” Nicholson told Chronicle Live. “This has been a long time coming. I'm so happy that it's finally happened and now we can start planning the rest of our lives together."
Skeen, from Britain, said he’s known he wanted to marry Sarah for years.
"I've known for a long time that I wanted to marry her,” he says. “For about half the time we've been together I've known she was the one."
