Bryant Park Shooting Suspect Corey Dunton Laughs At Arraignment: ‘F*** All You N***as’

The 16-year-old shooting suspect Corey Dunton laughed and smiled at his arraignment on Monday, shouting, “F*** all you n***as” as police escorted him from the New York City’s Midtown South Precinct on Monday.

“GGL!” Dunton added – an abbreviation for “giggle, giggle, LOL.”

Dunton is accused of opening fire at 11 p.m. Saturday on the crowded ice rink at Manhattan’s Bryant Park, after he demanded a 20-year-old man hand over his $680 Marmot coat.

Two people were injured. Adonis Mera, 14, was shot in the back, possibly leaving the teen paralyzed from the waist down.

“It wasn’t over a jacket — it was over your mother, ni**a!” Dunton shouted as he was taken to court.

He was arrested at his Bronx home after posting to Facebook that he was traveling to the rink with a gun.

He posted to his Facebook Sunday: “FEDS AT MY DOOR IM GOIN OUT WITH A BANG!!!!!!! TAKE MY SOUL."

Dunton is charged with two counts of attempted murder. He was arraigned Monday in Manhattan Criminal Court.

“He’s only a kid,” said his father, Corey Dunton Sr., before asking, “Did you see a weapon?”

The gun, a .22-caliber pistol, has not been recovered, said NYPD police commissioner Ray Kelly.

The Bryant Park rink is a popular tourist destination and this shooting occured right as the rink opened for the season. Park officials are struggling to reassure the public that the park is safe.

"Our hearts go out to the wounded and their families, and to those who were at the park during that time," park officials said in a Facebook post Sunday. "We are cooperating fully with authorities, who agree that it is safe to reopen."
