According to Clarkson, each burger has a mini meal inside of it like spaghetti Bolognese and meatballs, black pudding, spam or pepperoni pizza. The end result: a 30,000 calorie burger with a $250 price tag.
“We’ve already created a full burger encased inside another burger so I just thought why not try other things inside a burger?” Clarkson said. “Say, a pork pie, a chip butty or a pizza?”
The burger skyscraper, which stands only two inches shorter than Clarkson himself, took two hours to assemble with the help of his wife.
"Everyone thinks we are a bit nuts but they aren't surprised by the things we do now," Clarkson's wife, Corinne, said. "It's just about putting a smile on people's faces and trying to do things bigger and better every time."
Clarkson has called the burger the world’s tallest, though it has yet to be certified by Guinness World Records.
