Forensics experts in Aruba are testing a bone found on a beach to see if it came from missing American teenager Natalee Holloway. If it is indeed Natalee's it would be the first piece of evidence that she is dead.
The 18-year-old disappeared in 2005 while on a high school graduation trip to the island, There has been no trace of her ever since.
The Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf reports that tourists found the bone last Friday. The newspaper reported it was a human lower jaw bone, but Netherlands Forensic Institute spokeswoman Inge Oevering. said the bone is still being analyzed to determine if it is human. If it is, a DNA test will be done to see if it is Natalee's.
