An unidentified woman scolded a group of Muslims who were praying in a park in Alameda County, California, on Dec. 6 (video below).
Rasheed Albeshari was waiting in his car while his friends were finishing their prayers on the grass at Lake Chabot. “She was saying ‘Allah is Satan and you are all murderers,’" Albeshari told The Arab American News.
Albeshari stepped out of his vehicle, and began filming the woman on his cell phone.
“The people you tortured are going to be in an eternity in heaven,” the woman states in the video. “You are very deceived by Satan. Your mind has been taken over, brainwashed, and you have nothing but hate, nothing but hate,” notes RawStory.com.
A park ranger arrives, and tells the woman, "This is really inappropriate."
“It is inappropriate, you’re right, for somebody to tape record me, it is inappropriate” the woman responds.
Albeshari tells the park ranger that the woman was talking "about my God--," but then the woman appears to come after Albeshari, who later said that she hit him with an umbrella and threw coffee in his face.
A police report was filed, and a district attorney is considering filing a possible hate crime charge, Albeshari told The Arab American News.
