Angry Uber Passenger Is Banned After Tantrum (Video)

An unidentified female Uber passenger has been banned from the ride-hailing company after threatening a driver with fake rape accusations in New York City (video below).

A dashcam video of the disturbing ride originally went viral on LiveLeak, which listed the date of the incident as April 3.

In response to the video, an Uber spokesperson issued a statement, notes the New York Post:

The behavior in this video is abusive and completely unacceptable. As our Community Guidelines make clear, this will not be tolerated by anyone who uses Uber. The rider’s account has been banned and Uber is looking into this incident.

In the video, the driver tells the woman to get out of the car, but she responds by informing him that she is going to tell the police that he tried to hit her.

He stops the car and refuses to go any further, and she threatens: "I’m going to start screaming out the window that you’re raping me, that you raped me!"

Later, she demands, "You either take me, or call my man and tell him that you're not taking me!"

She starts screaming at him to call her man because her phone died.

The woman finally realizes she is being recorded on the dashcam, begins a new rant and appears to swing her fist near the driver.

"You just hit me in my face!" she screams.

The driver tells her that he is going to call the police, and she continues berating him.

She tells him to go back to his country, and adds: "[President] Donald Trump going to send you and your family back."

At one point, the passenger tells someone walking by to call the police because her phone is dead.

After the woman finally gets out of the car, the driver refers to her as a "b****" several times.

LiveLeak commenters tossed in their opinions and advice:

He should have driven to the police station and showed them the video.

It's only kidnapping if he locks the doors. As long as she is free to get out of the car anytime she wants, he's not breaking any laws.

Or call the police, let her make a false report, and then have her arrested for filing a false report. Most likely, they would just charge her with disorderly.

That man has the patience of a saint.

Agreed. I would have dragged that b**** out of my car and put my foot up her a**.

She was free to vacate at any moment, but she decided to claim rape and spew strings of profanities. Before modern technology, I wonder how many false claims of rape were believed.
