Amanda Bynes Insists She's Doing "Amazing" Since DUI, Hit-and-Run Accidents

Amanda Bynes is now speaking out about her DUI arrest and hit-and-run charges, claiming everything is just fine.

The 26-year-old actress told People magazine, “I am doing amazing.”

Amanda, whose last film role was in the 2010 flick “Easy A”, says she has retired from her acting career.

“I am retired as an actor. I am moving to New York to launch my career. I am going to do a fashion line,” she told the publication.

Bynes also opened up about her DUI arrest, claiming she doesn’t even drink!

“I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don’t drink, and I don’t drink and drive,” she adds. “It is all false.”

Bynes was recently pulled over by police in Burbank, California after being caught driving on a suspended license. She was issued a citation and her black BMW was impounded.

Amanda Bynes’ driver’s license was suspended after she was charged with hit-and-run in two separate car wrecks, one on April 10 and another on August 4.

The actress has friends worried about her and a source says she doesn’t seem to think she has a problem. The insider stated, “People around Amanda are really concerned about her. She tells people she doesn’t party or drink. She doesn’t realize she has a problem.”

The latest in the crazy drama ended with the former actress being kicked out of a spin class at the Equinox gym.

Amanda joined in for a 50-minute spin class when she suddenly stopped during the class and aimlessly walked around the room for a different bike.

She chose another one closer to the mirror and proceeded to take off her top to expose her tiny strapless bra (that was not a sports bra).

Just 20 minutes later Bynes stopped again to grab her purse and reapply her makeup. That was when the instructor told her to leave the class.
