This Is The 70-Year-Old Man Addicted To Dressing Up As Sex Doll

TLC’s documentary series “My Strange Addiction” returns next week, and the Season 6 premiere episode features men who wear masks and dress in rubber suits to look like a female doll.

Robert is a divorced property developer who lives in Newport Beach, California, with his 19-year-old daughter, the Daily Mail reports.

The 70-year-old is part of a growing community of “maskers” and has been dressing as his female alter-ego “Sherry” in skin-tight suits for 12 years.

“That's why I do this,” Robert says in a preview video below for the upcoming hour-long episode, “because I think I look amazing.”

He adds: “I just can't believe that's a 70-year-old man in the mirror and that's why I do this. If I saw a 70-year-old man in the mirror I would quit this tomorrow.”

When asked what he sees when he looks in the mirror, Robert responds: “An exciting looking female. If I saw a woman like this and she asked me to go hang out, I'd say yeah.”

Robert spoke with The Huffington Post U.K. back in April about his penchant for wearing a mask and a silicone “FemSkin Suit.”

“My motivation for doing this is a mystery to everyone, including me. One day something just clicked on,” he said. “I don’t know why it started and I don’t know why it continues, but I’m sure having a lot of fun.”

Robert was also featured in a U.K. television documentary called “Secrets of the Living Dolls,” according to Gawker.

The man behind the FemSkin suits is Adam Ramos, whose father came up with the idea after watching a TV show titled “RealDoll,” which featured life-size dolls that some men rely on for romantic and sexual relationships.

Season 6 of “My Strange Addiction” premieres January 7 at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
