A Louisiana man was arrested after police discovered crack cocaine hidden in his dentures.
Cornelius Carvin, 64, was allegedly walking down a Houma street Sunday afternoon with a crack pipe sticking out of a brown paper bag.
Police stopped him and found he hid the drugs lodged under his false teeth, WVUE reported.
Officer Corey Duplantis said Carvin originally tried to place the drug in his pants before sticking it in his mouth.
Duplantis asked him to spit out the dentures, which were taken as evidence along with the narcotics.
Carvin was charged with crack cocaine possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction of justice and resisting an officer.
He is being held at Terrebonne Parish Jail.
