About 600 people celebrated Christmas yesterday by getting into a massive brawl at the Regal River City Marketplace theater parking lot in Jacksonville, Fla.
Jacksonville Sheriff's Office spokesperson Lauri-Ellen Smith told WJXT that an off-duty police officer was rushed by a crowd of 25-30 young people trying to get into the theater without tickets (video below).
The off-duty officer called for back-up and used pepper spray on the crowd, which drove them outside to the parking lot.
That's when a massive brawl of about 600 people began in the parking lot where folks were jumping on cars.
60 police officers were called to the scene to break up the melee. Officers made five arrests, including three juveniles, an 18-year-old, and a 19-year-old, notes UPI.
