A video recently surfaced of the moment a Lamborghini Aventador worth $400,000 crashed into two other vehicles.
The footage shows a matte black Aventador colliding into the side of a Mazda 5 hatchback as it makes a turn on Sloane Street in the Chelsea neighborhood of London, the New York Daily News reports.
The 700-horsepower Aventador does not seem to slow down for the Mazda. Instead, the driver swerves and squeezes between the hatchback and a parked Nissan crossover car, becoming airborne in the process.
The 217mph supercar also smashes into a parked BMW before coming to rest in the middle of the street, worsening the situation and leaving debris behind.
The Aventador is capable of accelerating from 0-62 miles per hour in just 2.9 seconds – more than three times the motorway speed limit, according to The Telegraph.
“We showed up about three hours after the incident and there was a letter on the windshield,” said Lila Afshar, the owner of the BMW, told the Evening Standard. “The Lamborghini was being towed away and the owner came up and explained what had happened. He was really apologetic about it.”
Estimated repairs on the car would run up to $150,000, a specialist was quoted by the Telegraph as saying.
No one was hurt in the incident.
The video of the collision was posted to YouTube on Monday, garnering more than 4,000,000 views as of this writing.
