4 Year Old in Michigan Given a Pipe Full of Marijuana in His Burger King Kids Meal

A Michigan grandfather was shocked to look inside his 4-year-old grandson’s Burger King Kids Meal and find a pipe filled with marijuana on Tuesday.

The man immediately called police.

A 23-year-old employee at the Dundee restaurant admitted he hid his pipe inside a Kids Meal while he worked, but he said he never meant to give it to a customer.

“He handed the kid’s meal that he had gotten at Burger King to his 4-year-old grandson and when they opened it up they found a loaded marijuana pipe inside the kid’s meal,” police told Toledo News Now.

The grandfather also wrote down the license plate of a car full of young people he saw at the Burger King who he found suspicious. When police found the vehicle, there was more marijuana inside the car. Two other employees, ages 20 and 18, were arrested when police discovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the car.

In a statement emailed to the Huffington Post, Burger King said customer safety is their “top priority.”

"This Burger King restaurant is owned and operated by a franchisee who enforces a zero-tolerance drug policy," the statement said. "The franchise management team is cooperating fully with the Dundee police department. BKC and the franchisee extend a sincere apology to the guests involved in this unfortunate incident."
