Nocirc of Northern Ireland

Linda Massie received her degree in Sociology from the University of Ulster gaining an award for independent research.
She established Nocirc of Northern Ireland as a member of the Committee for the Administration of Justice, the Northern Ireland Forum for Ethics in Medicine and Healthcare, Amnesty International and the Northern Ireland Council for Voluntary Activity.
She published Gentital Mutilation in Ireland: A Public Health and Human Rights Report and received a Post-Graduate Diploma in Social Anthropology from the Queens University of Belfast.
She currently educates on the harm caused by male and female circumcision and on the international campaign to end these practices.
