Andrea Giancoli

Giancoli is a nutrition consultant, advocate and educator. She is a National Spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association and the school nutrition policy coordinator for the
Los Angeles Unified School District, implementing landmark food and beverage policies designed to improve the nutrition environments on school campuses. As co-founder of Fit4School, she has worked with many districts to develop local wellness policies and has designed nutrition education programs for students, teachers and parents. Additionally, Giancoli is an instructor of nutrition for UCLA Extension. Prior to becoming a registered dietitian, Giancoli worked as a television news producer for CNN, Extra! and CBS’s Day & Date. She is a graduate of UCLA where she also earned a master’s degree in public health nutrition.
