11Delaina Garling Tells 7-Year-Old Daughter to Pepper Spray Family Dollar Store Employees (Video)

Delaina Garling, a woman who was shopping in a dollar store in Upper Darby Township, Penn., on Monday afternoon, was asked to leave after allegedly being caught stealing.

According to Philly.com, when some dollar store employees tried to escort her out, she attempted to pepper spray them, as the surveillance video (below) shows.

"She started to walk away and then pulled out a pepper-spray can, turned toward the two victims and sprayed them both in the face," Upper Darby Township Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood said.

After dollar store workers tackled Garling, she handed the pepper spray can to her 7-year-old daughter and yelled: "You know what to do, baby. Spray it!"

The young girl did not use the spray, but watched as her mother was pinned to the ground until police arrived, reports the Daily Mail.

Garling is charged with simple assault, possession of a controlled substance and related offenses.

When police searched her they found a bag of marijuana and eight clonazepam pills, which she claims to use to treat seizures and panic attacks.

Garling's children were placed in the custody of their father.
