11Naked Man Shot By Police After Assaulting Retired Officer, Biting Teen's Face

A man was shot by law enforcement authorities after he assaulted multiple individuals in Delray Beach, Florida on Tuesday night.

According to Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw, the man was about 6 foot 3, 250 pounds, and completely naked. He allegedly began his attacks on a 66-year-old retired New York City police officer, who had to be taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Bradshaw also claims that the man chased an adult male and his son and assaulted an 18-year-old by biting his face. The 18-year-old defended himself by using a box cutter, CBS News reports.

According to the Palm Beach Post, law enforcement officials arrived on the scene and attempted to apprehend the suspect, who would not comply. They then attempted to subdue him using a Taser gun, which was non-effective. He was depicted afterward as "possessing what authorities described as superhuman-like strength." A sheriff’s sergeant then fired three shots at the man, striking him once in the upper torso and twice in his lower body. The man died shortly thereafter at Delray Medical Center.

In an interview with reporters after the incident occurred, Bradshaw was quick to point out that the man obviously had an unstable mental condition that was likely fueled by drugs. It is unclear whether or not his death was caused by the officer firing his weapon or from other, drug-related causes, Bradshaw insisted.

“We don’t know right now if he’s expired from the gun shots or he’s expired because obviously he’s on some type of drugs that’ve made him act like this,” Bradshaw said.

Bradshaw explained that he believed the use of force to be justified in order to calm the out-of-control situation.

“The residents here are ... pretty happy that the deputies did what they did so the guy didn’t get into the gated community and start terrorizing them over there,” Bradshaw said.

The shooting and the circumstances that lead to it are currently under investigation.

11Naked, Intoxicated U.K. Vacationer "Dry Tasered" After Challenging Pilot To Fight, Urinating On Terminal Wall

A 52-year-old male passenger returning to Manchester, England, from what must have been an uproarious holiday in Malta, got drunk on the plane, challenged the pilot to a fight and then, once the EasyJet flight landed, stripped naked, shouted at airport personnel and urinated against the wall of terminal.

For his antics, the man was rewarded with a slap in the face from his female companion — and 50,000 volts from a taser.

The incident, part of which was captured in the video seen below, took place September 26. A police spokesperson told the Daily Mail newspaper, “Police were called to Terminal One arrivals of Manchester Airport following reports a man was drunk and being abusive to passengers on a flight from Malta. As he left the plane, he took his clothes off and urinated against a wall.”

The police spokesperson went on to say that the man was “dry tasered” and arrested on suspicion of public drunk and disorderly behavior.

“Dry” tasering involves holding the taser weapon directly against the victim’s skin to deliver a direct shock.

EasyJet is discount airline based in Luton, England that flies passengers throughout Europe. Based on the number of passengers who take its flights, it is the United Kingdom’s busiest airline.

The naked, bald and pot-bellied man, who has not been publicly identified, initiated the incident when he began using profanity toward other passengers aboard the plane, prompting the pilot to leave the cockpit to pay him a visit.

Based on his accent, witnesses said, the man was apparently from Manchester. Prior to stripping to his birthday suit, the man was seen wearing an Oakland Raiders T-shirt and shorts.

As he was strutting naked around the tarmac, his female traveling companion slapped him across the face.

With the public release of this incident, it has been a rocky week for EasyJet. On Saturday, a flight from Malaga, Spain, bound for Bristol, England, took off with the passengers luggage on board but no passengers.

An EasyJet spokesperson said the screw-up happened “due to an issue at the boarding gate.”
