Angus T. Jones played Jake Harper, Charlie Sheen’s nephew, on the CBS sitcom “Two and a Half Men” for 10 years before leaving the show about a year ago for God.
According to TheBlaze, he’s now speaking out about his newfound Christian faith and reveals why he eventually left the show, saying he was a “paid hypocrite” for going on with the show for nearly a decade despite being uncomfortable with its content.
Before departing, the 20-year-old Jones allegedly appeared in a YouTube video posted by a California-based church, saying, “I’m on ‘Two and a Half Men,’ and I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it, please stop filling your head with filth.” He later apologized for his comments, but left the show when his contract ended in 2013.
TheBlaze notes that one year after leaving, Jones is now a Colorado college student who grew out his beard and speaks to churchgoers about trading the Hollywood spotlight for a life with God.
“[‘Two and a Half Men’] was making light of topics in our world that are really problems for a lot of people and I was a paid hypocrite because I wasn’t okay with it, but I was still doing it," Jones told KHOU in an interview. "I really want to be able to come into the light, and because I know that’s where genuine healing is. And I’ve just seen God do amazing things.”
Looking back, Jones said that he regrets about how he handled the situation and insulting its creator, Chuck Lorre.
“That’s his like baby and I just totally insulted his baby and to that degree I am apologetic but otherwise I don’t regret saying what I said,” the actor told KHOU.
Jones, a Seventh Day Adventist, says he may not be gone from acting for too long.
“There’s a few different productions that like do kind of Bible-based stories. Stuff like that,” Jones said.
Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, probably won’t be getting her kids back any time soon.
You will recall, the 36-year-old lost custody of her children after being hospitalized for a drug relapse, and shortly thereafter the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services determined that her 4-year-old twins would be in better hands if they lived with Sheen’s other ex-wife, Denise Richards.
As reported by Radar Online, Mueller was recently caught on camera lighting up a glass pipe containing a substance that is reportedly crack. In the same clip, she can purportedly be heard asking, "Where is the crystal? I am giving you $1,500."
You can check the clip out for yourselves in the video below.
Mueller has reportedly been in and out of rehab 20 times.
Charlie Sheen is a grandfather after his 28-year-old daughter Cassandra Estevez gave birth to a baby girl named Luna in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The 47-year-old “Anger Management” star is said to be thrilled with the news.
Sheen, who has five children himself, said, “It’s impossibly the most wondrous day. My bucket list is a thimble!”
Charlie’s twin sons with Brooke Mueller, Bob and Max, are now uncles to Baby Luna.
Cassandra Estevez is Charlie Sheen’s daughter with his high school sweetheart Paula Speert.
Sheen also has two daughters – Sam, eight, and Lola, seven, with second wife Denise Richards, and four-year-old twin sons, Bob and Max, with third wife Brooke.
Charlie confirmed Cassandra and her husband Casey’s happy baby news when he appeared on “The Late Show With David Letterman” back in January.
He told Letterman he was excited but a tad nervous.
Charlie said, “Me as a grandfather, Dave…I don’t know. It’s like the world’s going to crack in half,’ he joked. ‘It’s fabulous. It’s just not a title I’m ready to adopt”.
Letterman asked if he’d be a good grandfather and he joked, “Well, yeah, because you can leave the kid!”
While Brooke Mueller is in rehab, Denise Richards has been taking care of her twins, Max and Bob.
Meanwhile, Charlie Sheen is trying to stop paying her $55,000 a month in child support, since she is no longer caring for any children.
Sheen believes she is using that money to pay for her rehab bill, and wants the court to allow him to stop paying it.
With her history, she does not have a good chance of getting the children back anytime soon, so it might be best to stop the support now.
Farrah Abraham may have gotten on Charlie Sheen's good side when she contacted him about meeting up, but now it seems all love has been lost between the two. After text messages surfaced yesterday between the two, Sheen went on a tirade against Abraham and he did not hold back.
"hey, you desperate guzzler of stagnant douche agua;
I truly do not recall giving you permission to globally reveal any communication between us. congrats on surviving your lobotomy and an even bigger congratz on the recent attempt at porn.
your daughter must be so proud.
please send my number to middle earth and if allowed, eagerly follow it into said abyss and slam the door behind you. the world will collectively sigh as the pungent memory of you vanishes into the pedestrian troposphere of lame-suck and zero-life.
oh and I'm sure they'll wave the cover charge when they see your tranny-boobs and five o'clock shadow.
Abraham has yet to comment on Sheen's rant against her, but one person she is talking about again is Kim Kardashian.
"I definitely feel it’s an unfair comparison,” Abraham told New Jersey’s Metropolis Nights magazine. “I have been very successful with other things in my life besides just being a reality TV star.”
“I have books and other things going on in my life that outshine Kim Kardashian,” she continued. “I feel I just outshine her when it comes to both our personal and professional lives. That’s why I don’t like being compared to her.”
“We’re two really different people,” she said. “I don’t for see myself getting married more than once. I don’t see myself making the same choices that she has made. Good or bad, I just feel I’m going to be a smarter person. I don’t want to be negative, we’re just different people.”
Kardashian has yet to respond.
Denise Richards is promoting her new ABC show 'Twisted,' and has said that she is closer to ex-husband Charlie Sheen now that his third marriage has ended.
Richards, 42, said ever since he split from Brooke Mueller, they have been able to get along.
"This is awful to say, but it's true. When his third marriage started to fall apart, he and I started to become friendly," she said.
"In the last few years, things have gotten really great with us. We're very close and we're good friends, which is great because it's great for our kids. From day one, I've always wanted to keep the kids a priority and suck it up for them, but it takes two people to do that. He sees the benefit, too, that when we get along, it's good for the kids. It's not fair to them to be around parents who can't stand each other," she said.
Mueller is currently being treated for addiction at the Betty Ford Clinic. Denise is caring for Brooke and Charlie's twin sons, Bob and Max.
Farrah Abraham has been all over the media since recording her porno, Farrah Abraham: Backdoor Teen Mom, with porn star James Deen. Now Abraham is reaching out to Charlie Sheen to try to hook up with.
Abraham originally reached out to Sheen in May hoping to meet the Anger Management and perhaps score a part on the show.
Since then, Sheen and Abraham have been texting back and forth trying to coordinate a meeting with their busy schedules. Abraham has texted Sheen a few times while she was in Los Angeles trying to get together for coffee, a playdate for their children or a party with "pornstar people."
Sheen certainly seems game for the meeting telling Abraham that she "sounds fabulous" and that he would definitely "love to get together."
Brooke Mueller's twin boys with Charlie Sheen have reportedly been removed from her home. The twins are said to have been placed with Sheen's ex-wife, Denise Richards. Authorities reportedly took the twins because of saftey issues concerning Mueller's ongoing drug use.
“Brooke was given many opportunities by social workers to clean up her act. Social workers felt that Bob and Max weren’t safe in Brooke’s care. The decision was made late on Thursday afternoon, and the boys are no longer in Brooke’s care. It’s expected at some point the boys will be taken care of by Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, Denise Richards, who has cared for them in the past when Brooke went to rehab,” a source told RadarOnline.com.
Mueller and Sheen were married from 2008 to 2011 and had to twin boys, Max and Bob. Sheen and Richards were married from 2002 to 2006 and have two daughters Lola and Sam.
"Brooke is really not in good shape at all," a source told Us Weekly. "She is not opposed to Denise having the kids -- that's her first choice."
This is not the first time, Richards has taken care of Mueller's children with Sheen.
"They’re our family and they’re Sam and Lola’s brothers, and I can’t imagine growing up without my sister, so anytime she needs help, I’m there for the boys,” Richards told Access Hollywood. “[Sam and Lola] are the best big sisters to [the boys] and they love them. I know it doesn’t seem normal, but it is our normal. They’re little kids and I love children, and like I said, it’s our daughter’s brothers, so I can’t say no.”
According to TMZ, the custody hearing is set for next week.
Mueller's rep had no comment about the matter.
"We're not making any comments on this right now," the rep said to Us Weekly Magazine.

In truly disturbing news, Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen — two of the world’s most fucked up individuals – are shown in bed together in a new clip.
The new footage is from the forthcoming turkey of a movie “Scary Movie 5.” It shows the “Anger Management” star and the rehab hopping jailbird gearing up to make a sex tape (I think?) before Lohan’s “sobriety monitor” goes off and the two are attacked by paranormal forces.
Lohan screams at the sight of her own miserable existence being broadcast on TV and Sheen’s crotch is repeatedly slammed into a door. As this is happening, the actor proclaims, “I’ve come back from worse than this.” He’s probably talking about the movie.
So there’s a few things I just have to address after watching this:
First off, what is with the creepy oversexualized pairing of these two? Charlie Sheen is 47 and Lindsay Lohan is 26. Sure, Sheen’s probably been with his fair share of underage prostitutes but dude … be discreet about your pervy ways.
Second, are these two so pleased with themselves that they think being screw-ups is something to laugh about? Is there something funny about Lohan repeatedly driving while intoxicated and endangering the lives of innocent bystanders? Is Sheen losing a coveted TV gig that most actors would kill for and going bat shit nuts something audiences will chuckle at?
And don’t get me started on the unfunny mess that “Scary Movie 5″ is going to be. I almost feel sorry for the Z-list cast that signed on to this garbage. (Two words: Katt. Williams.)
Based on the trailer, it looks like two fifth-graders huffed a few cans of whipped cream, slapped together a few fart jokes and called it a screenplay.
Oh and one more thing … the movie is basically is carbon copy of “A Haunted House,” which came out in January.
Find out if people pay to see the same crap twice when “Scary Movie 5″ hits theaters on April 12.
